New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh has recently seen a sharp decline in the number of coronavirus cases. In view of that,  the government is gradually relaxing the curfews imposed to curb the spread of Covid-19.


After ending Sunday's lockdown, the government has relaxed the night curfew. According to an order, the night curfew will now come into effect in the state from 11 pm onwards. In view of the decline in coronavirus cases, the government reduced the imposition of night curfew by an hour. 


Night curfews in UP were imposed from 10 pm onwards earlier. The new order states that the night curfew in UP will remain in force from 11 pm to 6 am.


More than 8 crore people have been vaccinated in UP so far and it has become the state with the highest number of vaccinated people in the country.


More than 31.67 lakh doses of the Covid-19 vaccines were administered in the state by Monday.


Lucknow topped all the districts in this with 1.03 lakh doses provided on Monday. Which was then followed by Sitapur (91,553), Prayagraj (82,907), Bareilly (80,598), and Kushinagar (73,039).
