Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma along with his Cabinet of ministers reached Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya on Monday to visit the Ram Temple which was inaugurated on January 22 this year. Speaking to reporters in the holy Hindu city, Sharma said he felt overwhelmed to have the darshan in the grand and divine temple.

"I am delighted to arrive here in the city of Ayodhya today. I have had the darshan in a tent. It is delightful that we will be able to have the darshan in the grand and divine temple. I feel overwhelmed," Sharma said.

"I thank PM Narendra Modi that such a grand temple of Ramlalla has been built. Ram hamare rom rom mein baste hain (Ram resides in every inch of us)...," he added.

The delegation which went with the Rajasthan CM included Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore along with the office-bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The program for the cabinet of BJP-ruled states to visit Ayodhya was already decided and given the huge crowd of devotees, different days have been allotted to each state.

A video shared by news agency ANI via the Chief Minister's Office showed the Chief Minister, BJP officials, and other leaders leaving for Ayodhya in a plane. Some of the people inside the flight could also be heard singing bhajans and devotional songs on their way to the Hindu town.

Last month, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with their families, went for the darshan of Ramlalla in Ayodhya.

The idol of Ram Lalla was consecrated in a ceremony that lasted for around seven days starting from January 16 while the temple was inaugurated on January 22 with Prime Minister Narendra Modi being the master of the ceremony.
