CM Mahalaxmi Yojana launched in Uttarakhand: Mukhyamantri Mahalaxmi Yojana has been launched in Uttarakhand. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami launched this scheme at CM Camp office. CM Dhami and Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya distributed Mahalaxmi kits to the beneficiary women. At the same time, the beneficiary women from different districts also joined the virtual program where Mahalaxmi kits were distributed through the district magistrates. 


Benefit to be given to more than 50 thousand people 
Under the Mukhyamantri Mahalaxmi Yojana, a total of 16929 beneficiaries have been benefited in the first phase in all the districts of the entire state. More than 50 thousand people are to be benefited in a year. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the benefit of this scheme will also be seen in the improvement of sex ratio.  


It is necessary to encourage girls
Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya said that we have to end the dual mentality to take girls forward. Nature and Constitution have given the message of equality. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage girls. Women and men have equal importance in the society. The idea of discrimination has to end.

The beneficiaries who reached the program organized in the CM Camp office have appreciated the scheme. The beneficiary women said that having a girl today is not a curse but the most joyous thing, this scheme will definitely benefit the beneficiaries.   


Mahalaxmi kit has been prepared in this way


- For pregnant woman- Almonds, kernels, Sukhi, Kumaoni, walnuts, dates, two pairs of socks, towel, blanket , shawl , bedsheet, sanitary napkin, mustard oil, nail cutter, soap and laundry soap.
- Girl Baby Materials - Baby Clothes, Cotton Nappies, Baby Towel Cotton, Baby Soap, Oil, Baby Powder, Rubber Sheet, Baby Blanket, Vaccination Card, Breastfeeding Nutrition Card

Under the Mukhyamantri Mahalakshmi Yojana, which is aimed at providing nutrition and extra care to the mother and the girl child after delivery, the Chief Minister Mahalakshmi Kit will be provided to the mother and the newborn girl child on the birth of the first two girls or twin girls. These are the necessary records for application in the Chief Minister Mahalaxmi Yojana.
