Bhim Rajbhar New BSP Candidate
Mayawati has replaced Mukhtar Ansari with Bhim Rajbhar as the new candidate for the Mau Assembly seat. In a tweet, Mayawati said "BSP's would be working to ensure that no one with a criminal record or associations with the mafia is given a ticket to the upcoming assembly elections. In view of this, Mr. Mukhtar Ansari has been replaced by UP BSP State President Mr. Bhim Rajbhar as the final candidate to contest for Mau Assembly Seat."
Mayawati further said that the decision, taken keeping in mind the party's aim to live up to the people's expectations, needs to be executed keeping in mind that no issues arise during the party's attempt to address anti-social elements within the party.
In her following tweet, Mayawati said, "BSP would make sure to enforce the law legally. Along with this resolution, BSP aims to create such a positive image for UP in the nation, that every child in every other state of the nation would wish for a State Government just like Mayawati's 'just and fair' UP Government. At the same time, the BSP would show what an ideal State Government should look like."
