Lucknow: Several districts of Uttar Pradesh are under the grip of viral and dengue fever. At the same time, the Gonda district too has come under the grip of viral fever and dengue. Long queues of patients have started forming in government hospitals in Ballia. The number of patients suffering from viral fever in the district is increasing by 15 to 20 per cent every day. The number of patients has increased to such an end that the family members coming to the district hospital have to wait for hours.


News of relief from Gorakhpur


Dengue has been curbed to a great extent in Gorakhpur. At present, there is no active case of dengue in the district. The test for dengue is being conducted at 350 health centres. Dr. Sudhakar Pandey, Chief Medical Officer, Gorakhpur said, "We have asked the private laboratories and nursing homes to inform us immediately if any dengue case is reported so that preventive action can be taken. 






Deadly strain of dengue


Amid Corona infections, the number of viral fever patients is on the rise in the region. Many districts of the state are under the grip of this fever. On the other hand, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) informed that dengue D2 strain has been found in fever samples. This strain is very deadly and often causes bleeding. It also affects platelet count.
