Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha elections are held once every five years. In these five years, a voter may have a change in his or her address. They may move to another location or city for work or education. In such a situation, getting your Voter ID changed or replaced with new details could be a tedious task.

If you are above the age of 18, you could also get your name included in the voter list. You need not waste your time visiting electoral offices and this could be done from the comfort of your own home.
