Chennai Woman Forces Daughter's Classmates Into Prostitution

A similar incident was reported on May 22, 2024, in Chennai where police arrested a woman and her six associates for allegedly coercing school girls into prostitution.

According to sources, the main accused, K. Nadhiya, manipulated her daughter’s classmates by befriending them under the guise of teaching beautician courses.

She then allegedly exploited the children's economic backgrounds and offered them between Rs 25,000 and Rs 35,000 to involve them in prostitution, primarily with elderly men from Hyderabad and Coimbatore, police sources said to India Today.

The police received a tip-off from the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which was investigating a petrol bomb attack on Raj Bhawan. During a search of the residence of Kaduka Vinoth’s known accomplice, the NIA team identified Nadhiya as his girlfriend and found digital evidence related to the racket.

The state police were then alerted, and a team led by ACP Rajalakshmi raided a lodge, resulting in the arrest of Nadhiya.
