The streets in several areas of Rajasthan have turned into streams of gushing water due to heavy rainfall on Friday night. Videos from Jodhpur and Jaipur emerged on social media where roads were flooded with fast-flowing water. As alarming as the situation was for the people inside their houses, commuters on the roads were caught off guard. The rapid streams caused them to lose their balance. Several vehicles were carried away by the swift currents.
In a viral video from Phulera, two men on a motorcycle struggling to keep their balance in the flood, managed a narrow escape when a scooty floated toward them and hit their bike. While one managed to use a pole to steady himself on a platform, the other was almost pulled away by their two-wheeler after he fell.
In another video, a man was whisked away by rushing flood waters while many two-wheelers could be seen submerged in Jodhpur.
According to Times Now, the downpour lasted for at least 1 to 2 hours that led to this situation.
