Two people were killed after a speeding Porsche car driven by a 17-year-old rammed into a two-wheeler on Sunday in Pune. The minor driver was reportedly returning from a party and was driving the car under the influence of alcohol. The accused was granted bail in less than 15 hours by a juvenile court with one of the conditions being that he writes a 300-word essay on the topic "Effect of road accidents and their solution."

The Underworld Connection

According to a report by Pune Times Mirror, the grandfather of the accused took help of Chhota Rajan in a property dispute with his brothers a few years ago. The claim was made by a construction professional while opposing the pre-arrest bail of the accused's grandfather, Surendra Kumar Agarwal.

On November 11, 2009, the then corporator Ajay Bhosle was shot dead and the case was given to the Central Bureau of Investigation for a probe. During the investigation, a dispute between AK Agarwal and his brother Ram Kumar Agarwal came to light. As per the Pune Times Mirror report, Chota Rajan had asked Bhosle to intervene but the latter refused to mediate.

The CBI filed in its application that Ram Kumar Agarwal and Ajay Bhosle were always together and SK Agarwal gave Chota Rajan the offer to kill the corporator, as per the report.
