New Delhi: Taking a dig at the I.N.D.I.A bloc after Nitish Kumar formed an alliance with BJP-led NDA to form the government in Bihar, BJP national president JP Nadda said the Opposition alliance is “unholy and unscientific” and thus, it has “failed conceptually”.

Addressing a press conference after Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the chief minister of Bihar for the ninth time on Sunday, Nadda said, “We had said that INDI alliance is an unholy, unscientific alliance and it will not work. 'Anaya Yatra', 'Bharat Todo Yatra' and the INDI Alliance have failed conceptually. INDI alliance formed to protect family and properties and is a group of corrupt people and promotes appeasement.”

Calling the JD(U)-BJP alliance a “natural” one, Nadda said the people of Bihar had given their mandate to NDA.

“Nitish ji has returned to NDA, it is a matter of happiness for us. The people of Bihar gave the mandate to NDA. JDU and Nitish Ji's natural alliance is NDA,” the BJP veteran said.

Nadda further said that it is proven that Bihar witnesses “quantum leap” in terms of development when NDA forms the government and exuded confidence that this alliance will retain power even after the assembly elections in 2025.

“It is on record that whenever NDA forms government in Bihar, stability and development take a quantum leap. Under the leadership of PM Modi, NDA will sweep the Lok Sabha election and will form the govt in 2025,” Nadda said.

Notably, putting an end to the buzz around Nitish switching alliances yet another time, the JD(U) veteran and eight-time Bihar chief minister was sworn in for the top ministerial post in Bihar for the ninth time along with BJP leaders Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha as his deputies.
