A railway security personnel rescued a woman traveller who fall down from a moving train at Borivali railway station in Mumbai. The woman lost her balance and fell while attempting to alight.






The Ministry of Railways, in a post on X, shared a video of the incident and urged the commuters to not board or alight from moving trains.

In the video, the woman can be seen losing her balance while alighting the train as it started moving slowly. A police official standing on the station, seeing the woman losing balance, ran to rescue her and pulled her, thereby saving her life.


"At Borivali railway station in Maharashtra, a woman lost her balance and fell while getting down from a moving train. The railway security personnel present there acted promptly and saved her," the post further stated.


Earlier, a passenger fell on the platform while boarding a moving train at the Charni Road railway station as well when a railway police officer promptly intervened. In February, a similar incident occurred when a 40-year-old man was rescued at the Andheri railway station in Mumbai after he slipped and fell as he was attempting to board a moving train.

According to a Hindustan Times report, the man was carrying two bags and was seen running on the platform to catch the Lok Shakti Express.  However, he slipped and fell in the gap between the train and the platform, right as the train was about to depart.
