Tamil Nadu Mom & Daughters Found Dead

Earlier this month, a woman and her daughters were found dead in their house, inside a sump, at Ondipudur in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The deceased were identified as T. Pushpa, 38, T. Harini, 9, and T. Shivani, 3, according to The Times Of India.

A preliminary inquiry revealed that the woman’s husband V. Thangaraj, under the influence of alcohol, allegedly murdered one of his daughters by throwing her into the sump at their Nesavalar Colony home. Following this, Pushpa jumped into the sump along with her other daughter.

Police said Thangaraj, a wall painter, was addicted to alcohol and had not gone to work for the last four months. He often fought with his wife and demanded money to buy liquor, Times of India reported.
