Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that officers and employees from constable to sub-inspector level posted in all police stations, who do not have official vehicles, will be given 15 liters of petrol allowance per month. Speaking at an event in Bhopal, Chouhan said that the nutritious diet allowance of policemen will be made at Rs 1000 thousand per month.  

  


"We have decided that such officers-employees from constable to sub-inspector level posted in all police stations, who do not have official vehicles, will be given 15 liters of petrol allowance per month. The nutritious diet allowance of policemen will be made at Rs 1000 thousand per month. Uniform allowance of constable and head constable will be Rs 5000 per year," said Chouhan, as quoted by news agency ANI. 






MP CM further said that the state government has decided to give the fifth pay scale to state Police Service officers. During the event Chouhan also stated that the policemen above 45 years of age will be given free health checkups. "We have decided that the State Police Service officers will be given the fifth pay scale. The rate of free food allowance will be Rs 100 per day. Free health checkups will be done every year for all policemen above 45 years of age. Weekly off by rotation will be ensured for all policemen. 25,000 new houses will be built for policemen. SAF personnel will also be given a SAF allowance of Rs 1000 per month," said Shivraj Singh Chouhan, as quoted by ANI.
