A Congress leader died on Monday while addressing a press conference in Bengaluru Press Club.

The deceased, C K Ravichandran, suffered a heart attack while briefing the media on a protest against the Governor's decision to grant prosecution permission against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Ravichandran, President of the Kurubara Sangha and resident of Kolar district, felt uneasy and collapsed.

The tragic incident was captured on camera as the Congress leader fell to the ground in mid-speech.

He was immediately rushed to Fortis Hospital on Cunningham Road, but he was declared dead on arrival.
