Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar criticised the BJP for organising a padyatra over the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and Valmiki issues and dismissed it as an attempt to create controversy over non-issues.
On BJP's Bengaluru-Mysuru padyatra over MUDA and Valmiki issues, Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar said,"Congress wants to ask them what they have done in their tenure? It was the most scandalous government BJP ever had. They are doing padyatra for nothing, they are trying to make an issue out of a non-issue..."
Amid Janata Dal (Secular) withdrawing support for Padayatra, the BJP on Thursday announced that the JD(S) would join the joint padyatra, demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah over corruption allegations.
