As rainfall continues to lash parts of Haryana, Karnal witnessed heavy waterlogging in several parts while locals struggled to commute. Motorcycles were submerged up to half on the waterlogged streets. People were seen commuting on inflatable boats. News agency ANI shared visuals from the affected areas in which people were walking in knee-deep water. Meanwhile, five National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams have been deployed in the state.

In the one-and-a-half-minute video shared by ANI, a group of locals was seen standing with an inflatable boat on a waterlogged street. They got on top of it and took the boat forward by rowing it. Then two people were seen commuting on a motorcycle with water reaching almost up to their knees. Towards the end of the video, a man was seen wading through the water in trunks while holding a pair of slippers in his hands.
