The Jammu and Kashmir government terminated four government employees from service on Tuesday due to their alleged involvement in terror activities. The employees have been terminated in terms of sub-clause (c) of the proviso to clause (2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India. The four employees include a doctor, a police constable, a teacher, and a lab bearer in the higher education department.
In separate orders, the government terminated Dr. Nisar-ul Hassan, who was serving as an Assistant professor (medicine) at SMHS Hospital; Abdul Majeed Bhat, a constable in J&K Police; Farooq Ahmad Mir, a teacher in the education department; and Abdul Saleem Rather, a laboratory bearer in the higher education department.
