At least eight policemen were injured on Friday after a police Gypsy vehicle overturned near the Twin Bridge area in Uri, in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

According to a senior police officer, the vehicle—belonging to the Police Post Udoosa—was carrying officers for deployment duties when it reportedly skidded off the road and overturned.

Emergency responders quickly reached the scene, and all eight injured personnel were evacuated to the Sub District Hospital (SDH) Uri for immediate medical attention. Their conditions are currently being monitored, and further updates on their health status are awaited.
