Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha took a jibe at the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on Wednesday and said that the saffron party is afraid of Opposition's INDIA (India National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) alliance which is why it called the first NDA (National Democratic Alliance) meeting in the past nine years. Chadha said that earlier the BJP used to say 'Ek Akela Sab Par Bhari' but they are not saying it now. While talking about seat sharing and election campaigns, he said that it will be decided in the next phase of meetings.

While talking to the news agency ANI about 26 Opposition parties coming together under one banner, the AAP leader said, "This is the beauty of this nation that people coming from such different regions, speaking different languages came together to be united under one flag. The motive behind this is to remove the useless party that sits at the Centre and yet hasn't done anything in the past nine years. It has never done something for the common people to help them get rid of inflation."

He continued his attack on the saffron party by saying, "BJP is so afraid of INDIA that in the past 9 years it had never called a single NDA meeting but now after seeing our unity it was forced to call a meeting. Earlier it used to have open doors for the parties that wanted to take an exit due to which Nitish Kumar's JDU left the alliance and so did Parkash Singh Badal's Shiromani Akali Dal. Now to prove its strength, it has united 38 parties under NDA's umbrella out of which we have never heard the names of 32 parties. After that, we are hearing that 24 out of those 38 parties don't even have an MP in Parliament."

He said, "BJP earlier used to say that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is 'Ek Akela Sab Par Bhari' but now it is not saying that because it has realised the importance of the alliance. Now this election is INDIA versus NDA and whenever India faces anyone then its win is assured."

AAP MP recalled Indira Gandhi's regime when a number of parties came together under the flag of Jan Sangh Party to defeat her, similarly, INDIA has now united to defeat BJP and it will win in Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

In a significant move, leaders representing 26 opposition parties convened in Bengaluru on Tuesday to devise a comprehensive strategy to challenge the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge at the press conference, after the meeting, announced that the new alliance forged will be called I-N-D-I-A which stands for Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance.
