New Delhi: Six people were killed on Sunday in a deadly crash on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan after their car rammed into a truck that made a sudden, and wrong, U-turn. A CCTV footage of the accident has now emerged and gone viral. In the footage, the truck is seen driving down the four-lane expressway before veering to the right and suddenly taking a sharp turn to the left in an attempted U-turn. The car that rammed into the truck was right behind and was caught off-guard by the sudden turn.

The incident occured near Banas river bridge in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur district. The police have seized the truck, but the driver is still on the run.

The victims have reportedly been identified as Manish Sharma, his wife Anita Sharma, Satish Sharma, Poonam, his aunt Santosh, and his friend Kailash. Two children travelling in the car, Manan and Deepali, have sustained serious injuries. The group of family and friends was on its way from Sikar to the revered Trinetra Ganesh temple in Ranthambore.
