New Delhi: Five people were killed and six others injured in a road accident in Rajasthan's Dausa on Sunday, police said. The incident took place on National Highway-21 on Mahwa-Hindaun Road. 


Speaking to ANI, Jitendra Solanki, Mahwa SHO said, "The state transport bus was going from Mahwa to Hindaun. A tempo that was going from Hindaun to Mahwa was standing on the side. The tempo was hit by the bus in an attempt to overtake. Five people have died, six have been injured, and one has been referred."






On Saturday, five people, including a couple, were killed and four others injured in two separate road accidents in Rajasthan.


According to the police, three persons died when two trucks collided near the Kuchera area of Nagaur district. The drivers of both the trucks -- Salim Khan and Shaitan Rawat -- and cleaner Salman were killed, the police said.


Similarly, in Bharatpur, a jeep and a car collided head-on leaving three dead. Ucchain SHO Ramavtar said that a couple and another person travelling in the car died, while four others in the jeep were injured.


The deceased were identified as Samitabh (35) his pregnant wife Doli Mishra (32), and Dinesh Rajput (32). The bodies were handed over to family members after post-mortem, the SHO added.
