The first MotoGP Bharat 2023 has seen Marco Bezzecchi winning and dominating the race from start to finish. The race also saw a dramatic turn of events with Francesco Bagnaia having a crash. Meanwhile, Marco Bezzecchi with the Mooney VR46 Racing Team put in a stellar show with Jorge Martin, Primac Pramac Racing, taking second place while it was a closely fought battle with Fabio Quartararo. 


There was a last-lap close battle between Martin and  Quartararo. Brad Binder from KTM held on to the fourth place too with Joan Mir of Honda and Johann Zarco taking the next places. Then, Johann Zarco from Prima Pramac Racing came in next just ahead of Franco Morbidelli with Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP along with Maverick Viñales of Aprilia Racing.  Marc Marquez finished at the 9th place ahead of Raul Fernandez who just made it to the Top 10.





Luca Marini from the Mooney VR46 Racing Team ended his stint at the IndianOil Grand Prix of India since he clashed with Marco Bezzecchi from the Mooney VR46 Racing Team after the race started. It was India’s sports minister Anurag Thakur who presented the Yamaha team principal with the trophy for the winning constructor while Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath handed over the winner’s title to Marco Bezzecchi. The three riders then started spraying the champagne bottles on each other. That was a thrilling race between the riders in the first-ever Indian Grand Prix in the MotoGP held at the Buddh International Circuit.







The race event also saw many celebrities coming in with motorcycle lover John Abraham along with cricketer Yuvraj Singh and Shikhar Dhawan. This has been the first MotoGP race at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida with riders praising the BIC track layout. Defending champion Francesco Bagnaia has won six GP races this year - Indian GP, Portuguese GP, Spanish GP, Italian GP, Dutch TT and Australian GP.
