"Triple H", one of the biggest names in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), suffered from a cardiac arrest last week. Reports suggest that cardiac problems are genetic for Paul Levesque. The 14-time WWE Champion underwent successful treatment and now is recovering well.

The WWE released a statement on Triple H's health. “Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event,” the statement said. “The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery," it added.

Paul Levesque or Triple H is the executive vice president of global talent strategy and development at WWE. He nurtures new and raw talent from NXT and brings them into the mainstream WWE PPVs. He is also the executive producer of the NXT and NXT UK brands.

Levesque last wrestled in 2019 when he faced Batista at WrestleMania 35. He has a legacy of his own in the WWE. His partnership with Shaun Michaels in the "D-Generation X" was cherished by fans in the 1990s and 2000s.

During a SummerSlam weekend Triple H was asked about returning to the ring to which he said, “If people want it, if it's the right thing, it’s gotta be intriguing for me.”
