New Delhi: The World Wrestling Entertainment's flagship and much famed event 'WrestleMania 36' may have unfolded as a first of sorts event with highly acclaimed and adored WWE superstars locking horns behind closed doors with multiple championships on the line, but that did not deter the spirits of the die-hard WWE fans from keeping themselves reguarly updated on how did the results unfold on what is being dubbed as 0f 'Part 2' of the showpiece event.

WWE Championship - McIntyre Stuns Lesnar 

In the top card event - McIntyre vs Lesnar for the WWE Championship - which headlined many mouthwatering clashes to keep the fans hooked on and at the edge of their seats, Drew McIntyre caused a major upset by defeating his much more fancied opponent Brock Lesnar to become WWE Champion for the first time in his career.


In a gruelling match, which saw two giant-like wrestlers with immense power , unleashing lethal moves on the mat, 'Scottish Psychopath' McIntyre prevailed over the 'Beast Incarnate' Lesnar to light up the event with his maiden title. McIntyre's lethal Claymore kicks proved a bit too much for Lesnar damaging 'Suplex City' and he eventually pinned down his fearsome opponent with his trademark finishing move.

Trippy Firefly Fun House match - Bray Wyatt Beats John Cena

If the WWE Championship match kicked off with high octane action, the much awaited trippy Firefly Fun House match did not dissapoint either with age old rivals - Bray Wyatt matching John Cena's pedigree to the hilt in a match which was a mix of wrestling moves and mental overpowering gimmicks.


It was one hell of a match with some cinematic wrestling written all over it. After Wyatt overcame Cena by playing over his mind, Wyatt turned into 'The Fiend' and laid out Cena with a Mandible Claw.

Last Man Standing- Randy Orton Beats Edge 

Friend turned foes Edge and Randy Orton lived up to their billing as top notch entertainers and superlative wrestlers in a gripping Last Man Standing match, were 'The Rated R' Superstar was too good with his signature RKOs to knock down Edge. If the first two matches were a demonstration of absolute power being unleashed inside the ring, the Orton-Cena match gave a real glimpse of the finest exponent of technical wrestlers outdoing each others inch perfect moves to prevail as the winner.

NXT Women's Champion

In the women's division, Charlotte Flair pinned Rhea Ripley down to become the NXT Women's Champion. While, Bayley defended her Smackdown Women's Championship in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination match.
