On the occasion of International Women's day, BCCI secretary Jay Shah on Monday took to Twitter to announce that the Indian women's team will play a one-off Test match against England  women's team, later this year.

Indian women's team last played a Test match six long years ago, against South Africa in December, 2014 at Mysore.

After almost 12 months of Coronavirus-induced break, Mithali Raj and her team are currently playing a 5-match One-Day-International series in Lucknow against South Africa. The ODI series will be followed by a T20 series.
