"Stay Indoors and maintain immunity. Remember social distancing is the new unity and most importantly, fighting coronavirus is our national duty. Yes, these are difficult times all around the world, in India and in various states of our country and it's important that we stand up," Sourav Ganguly said in a video on Twitter.
In an exclusive interview, Sourav Ganguly had suggested how one should get motivated in such depressing times.
"Don't worry. Everything will be fine. I understand what is going on in everyone's mind. But I am confident that nobody will lose their jobs. The companies that are running, people in higher authority in the rest of the sector's, all understand this situation. Everyone should stay at home, try to stay safe. We will definitely emerge from these circumstances and see a good day coming again," he said.
Sourav Ganguly had pledged to donate rice worth 50 lakh to the needy people.
"I do whatever I can, this is a small gesture from my side. Hope people will get help and that is what is expected. A good dream to see tomorrow," Sourab Ganguly said.
