Serena Williams shared a video on Youtube titled "The BIG REVEAL!", disclosing the sex of her unborn second child.

The younger of the Williams sister opted for a unique way for the big revelation.

Tennis star Serena Williams revealed the sex of her yet to be born second child through a drone show. The 23-times Grand Slam champion is expecting a girl child with her husband Alexis Ohanian. Serena is already mother to a daughter named Olympia. It is pertinent to note that the American tennis ace retired from the sport in September 2022. The 41-year-old shared a video on Youtube titled "The BIG REVEAL!" in which the sex of her unborn child was made known to her close friends and family.

The younger of the Williams sister opted for a unique way for the big revelation. As can be seen in the clip, drones lit up the sky with the message "Girl" much to the delight of the spectators.

The video has garnered 897 thousand views already as on August 2, 2023 (Wednesday).

"We are actually going to reveal Jelly Bean’s sex. The way we’re going to do it, though, is with a little style and some spectacular lights," Alexis can be heard saying in the video before he calls to "draw attention to the heavens" where the big revelation is made.


Williams is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players ever to have played the sport. Apart from her incredible tally of 23 grand slams which is actually one better than the legendary Steffi Graff, Williams held all four Grand Slam titles at the same time twice in her career in 2003 and 2015. Fittingly, the achievement came to be known as 'Serena Slam'. She has 7 Australian Open women's singles titles, a record that remains unmatched and 4 Olympic gold medals, three of which came with her sister Venus in the doubles game.
