Mumbai: India explosive opener Rohit Sharma was 'on fire' at Wankhede during IND vs West Indies final T20I in Mumbai. The deputy-skipper smashed back-to-back sixes to bring up his 19th T20I fifty off just 23 balls. Rohit celebrated his glorious fifty by pointing the bat towards wife Ritika and daughter Samaira in the stands.  The duo of Rohit Sharma and Kl Rahul (91) gave India a dream start as the scoreboard read 240/3 at the end of their innings against West Indies. An all-round performance from team India helped them seal the three-match T20I series 2-1 on Wednesday.

After his fiery innings of 71 off 34 balls against Windies, Rohit Sharma was seen making gestures towards his daughter Samaira. Mumbai Indians' official Twitter handle shared the video of Rohit-Samaira interaction.

Rohit Sharma, who on Thursday joined hands with Spanish LaLiga as its brand ambassador in India, spoke about how some Indian cricketers imitate footballers' hairstyles.

"The young guys who have come into the team like Shreyas Iyer, K.L. Rahul, Hardik Pandya... They all follow football and they do watch all these footballers, their hairstyles and what they do with their hair," Rohit told IANS.

When asked who is the best footballer in Indian cricket team, Rohit replied: "There are lots of them actually... We have got Zlatan Ibrahimovic in our squad as well, that's Ishant Sharma. But M.S. Dhoni is the number one football player."
