Soon after Argentina defeated France to win the FIFA World Cup 2022, celebrations started in all parts of the South American nation. Several videos have now made their way to the internet in which the people in large numbers can be seen on the streets, celebrating the nation's third World Cup title and their first since 1986.

The visuals from Rosario were no different. The place happens to be world-renowned footballer Lionel Messi's hometown. Notably, Argentina were dominant in the first 80 minutes of the match but a penalty awarded to France changed things rather quickly as Kylian Mbappe netted twice in no time to level the score.

While Messi scored again in extra time which appeared to be the winner, Mbappe found a way to put France back into the game with another game. However, when it came to the penalty shootout, Argentina won 4-2, which brought huge joy not only to the Argentinians but also to Messi and Argentina fans around the globe.
