Premier League: Things got emotional before the start of the Premier League game between Manchester City and Everton on Saturday. Fans of both teams rose and showed their support for Ukraine.
Oleksandr Zinchenko, the Manchester City defender was visibly in tears as he got emotional looking at the support from the English fans, away from Ukraine. The fans gave Zinchenko heartfelt applause and reception at the Goodison Park in Liverpool in the build-up to the Premier League match between City and Everton.

The Manchester City players lined up for the match wearing t-shirts displaying the blue and yellow flag of Ukraine, with a message: "No War", while the Everton players wrapped Ukraine's flag around before the match began.
Zinchenko also met with fellow Ukrainian Vitaliy Mykolenko before the match began:
Ukraine is shaken by the unprecedented attack on its soil by Russia. UN reported 240 civil casualties as of Sunday morning amid the Russian invasion. Watching such a response from the English fans made Zinchenko emotional and couldn't control his tears.
Eventually, Manchester City won the match by 0-1 and maintained their top position in the league.
