In a rather bizarre incident on a basketball court, an ongoing match was interrupted as a delivery agency from an online food ordering company simply walked on to the court to deliver an order. The incident happened during a college basketball match in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Wednesday.
While two teams Loyola Chicago and Duquesne were in the middle of a match at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, a man seemingly a delivery agent causally stepped on to the court while carrying the order. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
Both the audience as well as the commentators were confused as the match had come to a halt owing to a food delivery.
"Somebody came on the floor, on the far side, looking for an Uber eats delivery or something," a commentator was heard saying.
"There he is carrying some McDonald’s," he added.
"I’m actually not kidding, I think that’s what’s happening,” he said while described the turn of events."
Meanwhile, the second commentator still couldn't believe what he saw. He said: "This guy’s in the corner, was he gonna deliver the McDonald’s to somebody on the court? Can we rule that out?"
"There he is," the two commentators exclaimed when the replays were shown of the incident.

However, some seem to suggest that the the entire incident was fake and had been staged. Among those pushing this narrative is the assistant director of the basketball team Loyola Ramblers, Austin Hansen.
"This kid was clearly doing a prank for Youtube/TikTok," he shared on Twitter.
"You can see that he is wearing a microphone, and tons of students were filming him with their phones," he said.
"They didn’t kick him out. He just casually walked back into the stands with his McDonalds in hand."
A Pittsburgs Sports News reporter also claimed that he wasn't actually a delivery partner but just used a jacket and hidden cameras and asked one of his friends to record him from a height. The said person was later removed from the area after the incident.
