"The shirt is from 2017 Champions Trophy which we won, it has the signature of all the players which were present in the squad," Ali said in a video posted on Twitter.
"Both these things are close to my heart but if it can be used in the difficult times for the benefit of the people I will more than happy," he added.
Earlier, former South Africa skipper AB de Villiers took to Instagram to announce that he and team India skipper Virat Kohli on Monday put up their kits from a 2016 Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Gujarat Lions for auction to aid the battle against deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).
In the match, RCB's Virat and De Villiers, both scored centuries and shared a 229-run partnership to help their side win the game. The money raised will be split in half between charities working in South Africa and India.
