Few days back, Chief selector MSK Prasad-led committee announced the squads for the upcoming limited-overs series against West Indies in the presence of BCCI President Sourav Ganguly. Reigning ICC World T20 champions, West Indies start their limited-overs tour with the three-match T20I series, starting in Hyderabad on December 6. The second T20I will take place in Thiruvananthapuram on December 8 and the final and third T20I match will take place in Mumbai on December 11.
Following the T20I series, India and West Indies will lock horns in the three-match ODI series, starting in Chennai (December 15), second ODI in Visakhapatnam (December 18) and the final fifty-overs game to be played in Cuttack (December 22).
Ahead of the much-awaited T20I encounter, Widies skipper Kieron Pollard said he doesn't mind the underdogs tag against a strong opposition like team India. The hard-hitting batsman also said,"it is about executing and believing in your talent, once you do that anything is possible."
