New Delhi: Two World Cup-winning captains from India, MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev were spotted playing golf in Gurugram at the tournament named the Kapil Dev - Grant Thornton Invitational 2022 event. The video of Dhoni trying his hand at golf went viral on social media.

Last month, Dhoni and Kapil Dev were spotted watching a US Open 2022 men's singles game between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcarez at New York's iconic Arthur Ashe Stadium. 






It was under Kapil Dev's captaincy that the Indian cricket team won their first-ever World Cup title in 1983. India had defeated two-time World Cup winners, the mighty West Indies at Lord's to register one of the greatest sporting events ever in India's sporting history.

After a long gap of 28 years, MS Dhoni-led team India defeated a strong Sri Lankan side at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium to lift the World Cup trophy in 2011 - India's second title-win in Cricket World Cup. Team India won the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy too under Dhoni's captaincy.
