New Delhi: India Test skipper Virat Kohli on Monday said he was disturbed by the recent terror attack in Uri and expressed sympathies with the families of the martyred jawans.

During a press conference on India’s win against New Zealand in Kanpur, Kohli was asked a question on the terror attacks in the violence-hit state of Jammu and Kashmir.

“As an Indian it hurts. What is going on is disturbing.. and I can imagine what is going through the minds of the families whose sons have died,” Kohli said.

This is not for the first time the skipper has expressed his views on the gruesome attack by Pakistan. He tweeted a picture last Monday condemning the attack by saying, “This picture fills me with emotions I can't explain. To all the brave hearts, Jai Hind #UriAttack #Kashmir.”
