UFC 306: The time has arrived and the much-awaited pay-per-view of UFC 306 is on the cards for this weekend, and the venue for the event is the iconic Sphere in Las Vegas. The venue is a much-anticipated spectacle, as it provides a whole new viewing dimension for not just the viewers, but for the athletes as well.
UFC President Dana White already stated the occasion as "one-and-done" deal becauue he "just wanted to do it." Also, he further stated that the event is "basically a love letter to the Mexican people and their culture", as the theme of the pay-per-view is Noche UFC, which is done in honour of celebrating Mexican Independence Day.
All-Iconic Features Of The Sphere, Las Vegas
The Sphere in Las Vegas is the world's largest spherical building. Standing at 366 feet high and 516 feet wide, the venue provides a never-seen before visuals of a sporting event. The Sphere can accomodate around 20,000 people, and the images can be displayed at a quality of 64K, with videos carrying a 16K quality.
The shape of the LED panels make the visuals even more spectacular, and the exterior of the building uses an exterior lighting. As reported by Tomorrow City, it took around an investment of 2.3 Billion US Dollars to conclude the construction of the iconic building.

UFC 306 will mark as the first-ever sporting event at the venue. Sphere was opened last year and what makes the venue completely unique is the high-quality of sound system installed and a 16K quality of picture to be displayed on a 160,000-square-foot wraparound LED screen.
The UFC 306 will feature co-main events: Men's Bantamweight Championship, and Women's Flyweight Championship. Sean O'Malley will be defending his title against Merab Dvalishvili, whereas, Alexa Grasso will be defending her title against former champion and one of the all-time greats, Valentina Shevchenko.
