UEFA World Cup Qualification: Cristiano Ronaldo became the first professional footballer on the planet to score a total of 10 hat-tricks in international football. Ronaldo's three goals against Luxembourg helped Portugal secure a 5-0 win against them in World Cup Qualifying Group A. 


CR7 scored the first two goals in the first 13 minutes itself on penalties, while completed his hat-trick scoring in the 87th minute, this was Ronaldo's 115th overall international goal in 182 matches for Portugal. Now Ronaldo has nine goals against Luxembourg making it the country he has scored the most against. 


With this win, Portugal inch closer to the group leader, Serbia who also defeated Azerbaijan 3-1. Portugal has a match in hand and thus will feel confident about the qualification.
