Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) laid their hands on the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) trophy for the fourth time after they defeated St Lucia Zouks by eight wickets in a thrilling title clash at the Brian Lara cricket stadium in Tarouba at Trinidad.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who also happens to be TKR franchise owner was overjoyed with his team's triumph in the 2020 CPL finals after the Kieron Pollard-led Brigade hunted down a 155-run target to end their unbeaten title winning campaign with 12 straight wins and a 4th CPL title in their kitty on Thursday.

Shah Rukh Khan was elated when Darren Bravo sealed the title for the Trinidad franchise with a winning boundary and posted a congratulatory tweet much to the happiness of the Knight Riders team members and the die hard fans. 'Come to IPL," read a part of his tweet.

Lendl Simmons (84*) and Darren Bravo (58*) powered the TKR win in the finals against St Lucia Zouks with an unbeaten 138-run second wicket stand to help Trinbago Knight Riders chase down 155 for 8 wickets with 1.5 overs to spare.

The win for TKR in the grand finale of the 2020 CPL their 12th on the trot with the team finishing on top of the league stage with 10 wins from as many games.
