Tokyo Paralympics: Medal no. 19 for India at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. Krishna Nagar has defeated  Chu Man Kai of Hongkong (2-1) 21-17, 16-21, 21-17. Nagar won the first set, dropped the second, and then came back stronger in the third set to clinch the match 2-1.

It was an amazing final of Badminton where the Indian shuttler was getting a tough challenge from the Hongkong player. In the third set, Man Kai was 13-13 coming from behind. At that point, it looked like anybody's game but eventually, Nagar prevailed and secured India's 5th gold medal!

Earlier today, India's Suhas Yathiraj won a silver medal in the men's singles Badminton SL5 category. The total medals tally at the Paralympic Games has reached 19. India has five gold, eight silver, and six bronze medals in their kitty.  India has reached the 24th rank in the medals tally table. This has been a memorable tournament for India.
