Tennis is considered to be one of the most competitive and admired sports across the globe. Over the past few decades, the sport has caught the fancy of thousands of enthusiasts who often play the game for either fitness, enjoyment and some who aspire to take it up as a professional career. The game requires not just dedication but immense persistence and adroitness in order to shine brightly. There are innumerable tennis players in the world who have the ability to play the game akin to a professional tennis player, but only a few manage to turn it to that level. Edoardo Santonocito, a 26-year-old from Italy, lives trying to pursue his life goals without ever giving himself respite.

Unlike any other tennis professional, Santonocito’s profession is not just limited to playing but also extended to social media working as a tennis coach. He manages two tennis clubs in the city of Genoa in Italy and as an Influencer through his structured activity on social media. Santonocito is the so-called sports addicted who could not live without tennis and moreover his love for travel in order to enhance himself with new experiences.

Talking about his throughout journey, Santonocito says, “As for my sport career, my tennis passion has blossomed at the age of 13, when my mother during a summer where the football activity had been suspended (I played soccer from 5 years to 13), led me to take a tennis lesson and there the spark was triggered and I realized that this was my way, initially as a player and then as a teacher. I started working as a teacher because I did not want to abandon my passion, but since I could no longer walk the professional player's way I got on the other side of the fence, becoming a coach.”

Edoardo, who is a model and a social media influencer expresses, “I have always been a guy very attentive to the beauty, to the attention to details and to my person but I would never have had the courage to approach the world of fashion if not for fun, through two friends who were already navigated in that sector and sometimes they asked me to accompany them or to replace them for shooting, fashion shows or commercials. I started receiving numerous requests no longer from my two friends but directly from agencies, brands and advertising companies, I realized that maybe it could become a real job.”

Rising up to the challenges of life, Edoardo did not let the hurdles stop him from reaching greatness. Although he was later no longer a tennis player himself but stayed in the world he loved, as a coach to other aspiring tennis athletes.
