Amid lockdown due to COVID-19, sports personalities across the world are interacting with fans on social media. Team India's out of favour speedster S Sreesanth interacted with his fans and followers in yet another live session on Helo App.

As Sachin Tendulkar turns 47 today, Sreesanth talked about his experience of sharing the dressing room with 'God of Cricket'. The Kerala-born fast bowler has been one of the players among the extreme fortunate cricketers to have played alongside the 'Master Blaster'.

During his live interaction on Helo App, Sreesanth suggested that Sachin Tendulkar's birthday is the biggest day in cricket and that his birthday should be celebrated as sports day.

"Nobody can forget this day, as the biggest day in cricket. This day should be celebrated as sports day. I still keep Sachin's bat in my house temple. He also gave me his practice gloves which I still have," said Sreesanth.

Sachin Tendulkar scored his 100th century against Bangladesh in Mirpur in the year 2011. Sreesanth said he went and hugged Sachin after the batting legend attained his 100th hundred.

Sreesanth also revealed Sachin's favourite choice of food and described how lucky he feels about living in Sachin's era.

"He is a great human being and always loved to help newcomers. Sachin gave me some important tips that helped me bowl well against greats like Ricky Ponting. If we observe Sachin's career, he proved that age is just a number and we have to remain focused and be fit and have faith in ourselves," Sreesanth said.

The speedster also shared with his fans important advice he got from Sachin: Be yourself - don't change for the world, family and blood comes first, the country comes first before anything.

Sreesanth was arrested on charges of spot-fixing during the 2013 edition of IPL. The Supreme court, however, cancelled the life ban on Sreesanth and asked the BCCI to reconsider his punishment. Now, as fans await his comeback, Sreesanth revealed his dream is to help his home team Kerala win in upcoming Ranji trophy.

"Don't worry about jealousy and hatred...just keep loving your passion," he advised.

The speedster also advised everyone to stay home and follow the government's guidelines to contain the spread of coronavirus.

"All cricketers have done a song which is going to come in a couple of days. Stay safe Stay Home." Sreesanth concluded.
