Players of Turkish side Sivasspor became almost invisible as they wore a white jersey on a snowy day in Istanbul.
A Super Lig football match was being played in Istanbul at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium between Istanbul Basaksehir and Sivasspor. It was snowing in Istanbul. Usually, the ground staff pushes the snow along the boundaries of the advertising boards. But this time, something unusual happened at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium.

A white layer of snow covered the ground which camouflaged with the Sivasspor team’s jersey. It became difficult to spot the visiting team on the ground. You will see in the following images that only the players from Istanbul Başakşehir were visible.
The match ended up in a 1-1 draw with Danijel Aleksic and Hakan Arslan scored one goal each for Istanbul and Sivasspor respectively.
Football fans across the globe saw the funny side of it and shared some memes on Twitter. One fan said that it was like a glitch in a FIFA game while another one said it was a new ‘Casper Strategy’ suggesting that the camouflage was a plan of Sivasspor’s strategy.
