New Delhi: The third and final T20 International match between India and New Zealand was played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday. Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue defeated New Zealand by 73 runs in the final T20I to complete a resounding clean sweep in the three-match T20I series 3-0.


Batting first after winning the toss, Rohit Sharma (31-ball 56) and Ishan Kishan (21-ball 29) starred with the bat to help India score 184/7. In reply, New Zealand were bundled up by India for just 111 runs in 17.2 overs. Martin Guptill scored the maximum 51 runs for New Zealand. Axar Patel was the pick of Indian bowlers as he bagged three wickets while Harshal Patel took two wickets for India.


Meanwhile, BCCI on Monday took to twitter to post a video in which young India batsman Shreyas Iyer can be seen "weaving some magic with a deck of cards". Iyer chose speedster Mohammed Siraj to perform his trick.

Team India attained a clean sweep over New Zealand in the T20 series for second time in a row. India had earlier whitewashed New Zealand 5-0 on its home soil.
