Pakistan cricket team's star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi tied knot with Shahid Afridi's daughter Ansha, Friday, February 3 in a local mosque in Karachi. Just a day after his wedding, Shaheen took to Twitter to thank his fans, well-wishers for their prayers and love. However, the star pacer also made sure to let everyone know how disappointed he was with people, spoiling his memorable day by sharing clips and pictures from his wedding, without his consent. It seems like Shaheen and his family wanted to make the grand event a very private affair.

"AlhumduLillah, Almighty has been very kind and generous. May we always remain as a garment to each other. Thank you everyone for the well wishes and making our special day even better. Remember us in your special prayers," Afridi wrote on Twitter.

"It's very disappointing that despite many and repeated requests, our privacy was hurt and people kept on sharing it further without any guilt. I would like to humbly request everyone again to kindly coordinate with us and not try to spoil our memorable big day."

Shaheen will return to action in the eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), set to begin on February 13. Shaheen-led Lahore Qalandars will go up against Multan Sultans in the first match of the tournament. In the previous edition of PSL, Shaheen played an important role with the ball and bat as he led Lahore Qalandars to their first-ever PSL title.
