Here's What Novak Djokovic Said In Post Match On-Court Interview

“I'm trying to speak French because you deserve that. What can I say? First of all, I want to congratulate Lorenzo. He's a player that we must applaud this evening or rather this morning. He had an incredible match, which he came very close to winning. I was lucky at the start of the fourth set because he was the one. best player on the court. I had no solution to respond to his game. Everything he did, he produced with enormous quality. I was in great difficulty," said Novak Djokovic.

Speaking of the crowd, the Serbian hailed their spirit to stay beyond midnight and support him, and added that it is almost impossibile for him to sleep tonight.

"You deserve huge thanks because you gave me a lot of energy. I wasn't the same player before this fourth set. It's incredible that you stayed, it's 3 a.m.... You. You're too young children, you have to sleep. It's one of the biggest matches I've experienced here, thank you all... Now it's impossible to sleep with all this adrenaline so if you have an after party, I’m coming!," he added.
