Rahul Tewatia was part of the Haryana team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali. However, Haryana lost in the quarterfinal to Baroda. Rahul made a name for himself by powering his IPL team Rajasthan Royals to a thrilling win against Kings XI Punjab, by hitting five sixes in a single over!

Rahul's fiery innings against Kings XI Punjab was highly praised by fans and cricket pundits all over the world.
Along with batting, Rahul also bowled well during the tournament. He scored 255 runs in 14 matches in IPL 13 with a strike rate of 139.34. While bowling, Rahul took 10 wickets and his economy was only 7.08.
Nitish Rana and Haryana spin bowler Jayant Yadav were also present with Rahul for the special occasion. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament played this year, Tamil Nadu defeated Baroda by 7 wickets in the final match to clinch the title for the second time. Last season, Tamil Nadu lost by one run against Karnataka in the final match.
