New Delhi: The craze of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's film 'Pushpa: The Rise' seems to be increasing even weeks after its official release on an online streaming platform. The makers couldn't release the Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna-starrer in theaters due to the rapid spike in Covid-19 cases in India, but still the movie managed to take the nation by storm.

Fans across the world, including many celebrities have tried imitating superstar Allu Arjun’s famous step from the viral song ‘Srivalli’. The latest to jump on the ‘Srivalli’ bandwagon is former India cricketer Suresh Raina.

Raina on Monday took to social media to post a video in which he, along with his family, can be seen recreating the famous dance step.

"I couldn’t stop but try this myself. @alluarjunonline what an incredible performance in #pushpa brother. Wishing you lots of success! @aadyanijhawan09 @shivnijhawan," Raina wrote.

The video managed to get Allu Arjun's attention who responded with clapping emojis saying, "Greattt." Arjun further thanked the veteran and wrote, "@sureshraina3 thank you sooo much . Sorry dint read your comment earlier...Elated to know that u liked my performance . Thank you soo much for your wishes and Likewise ... More power to you . Humbled.""

Talking about Suresh Raina's cricketing career, the 35-year-old, who announced retirement from all forms of cricket on Independence Day 2020, had a poor outing in last year's IPL. As a result, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) released him ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction.

Defending champions CSK retained Ravindra Jadeja, skipper MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Moeen Ali.
