A wild swing by Karachi Kings lower-order batter Irfan Khan off Tom Curran's delivery went high up in the air and almost went over the boundary rope for a six. However, Hasan Ali showed top-class fielding skills as he grabbed the ball mid-air, threw it back to Rassie Van Der Dussen who successfully caught the ball to complete a stunning relay catch.

Batting first, Karachi Kings (KK) posted a mammoth 201/5 against Islamabad United (IU) in 20 overs. For Karachi, skipper Imad Wasim, continuing his fine form in the ongoing 2023 Pakistan Super League (PSL), played a fiery 54-balls 92-run innings.
