Haryana Steelers defeated UP Yoddha 36-33 in the first game in  Matchday 21 of the Pro Kabaddi League at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad. Vikash Kandola was the pick of the raiders for the Steelers in attack with a Super 10, while Sunil was the lynch-pin of the defence and picked up a High 5. The win over Yoddha's helped Haryana Steelers register a hat-trick of wins in the ongoing season.

Haryana were well led by their captain Dharmaraj and Vikash Kandola was in brilliant raiding form to take Haryana to victory.  UP Yoddha, on the other hand, put up a stiff challenge all through the encounter were guilty of having their defence fail them at crucial moments even as Shrikant Jadhav made an excellent attempt to keep them afloat. Haryana now lead UP 2-1 in their head-to-head record.


In the second game of the day, Bengal Warriors beat Gujarat 28-26 in a nerve wrecking encounter to climb to the 2nd position in the league. Both the teams were pretty evenly matched all through the encounter but  K Prapanjan scored crucial raid points to make sure that the Warriors got over the line.
