With the Pro Kabaddi League back with its sixth season, spanning three months - from October 7 to January 5. There are several things for the fans to look out for.


Introduction of a Foreign coach for the first time

This season comes with a new foreign twist with team U Mumba Amir Gholamreza Mazandarani as their new coach: one of Mazandarani career highlight is being the head coach of Iran's Asian Games gold winning team. It will be very exciting to see how the Indian players, who have no experience of working with a foreign coach before will work it out with their new mentor.

Say Hello to the new Captains

Season 6 is all set to witness a bunch of new captains. Also, the interesting thing is that the teams with new captains rather than going for seasoned players, have opted for energetic, young, emerging players as the ones to lead them. While, Vishal Bhardwaj and Girish Ernak will be seen captaining Telugu Titans and Puneri Paltan respectively. UP Yoddha will be led by Rishank Devadiga.

A new winner this season?

Pink Panthers (Season 1), U Mumba (Season 2) and Patna (Seasons 3, 4, and 5) are the three teams that have won previous five seasons. Introduction of new talent, new coaching methods and strong raiders, Season 6 might witness a new name in the winner’s list.

Will Delhi become the Champion for the first time?

Apart from all the eight teams since the first season, Delhi Dabang have never made the play-offs. With senior players like Meyraj Sheikh and Shabeer Bapu and ex-Patna player Vishal Mane, the team has got all the potential to win season 6.
